Registry tricks to show or hide desktop items:

1. Locate the path "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer" in the registry editor.
2.  Modify the value of "NoDesktop" to 0 to show the desktop items.
3. Make it as 1 for hide the items.
