Registry Settings for Faster System Shutdown

To Enable Faster System Shutdown:

1. Go to Regedit.
2. Locate the path : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control.

3. Change the default string value of "WaitToKillServiceTimeout" from 12000 to lesser than 3000.
